Colorado was doing pretty well and then whammo, they got hit with a huge spike this past month. Ouch.

California has improved their position since July and August, cutting their case numbers by more than half, but they're still at double the case rate they had in April and May.

Arkansas is having some issues. Cases, hospitalizations and deaths are all up sharply from previous months.

Arizona is one state that's actually had some success bringing down their infection rates. Hospitalizations and Deaths are way down too.

Alaska just had it's cases take off like a rocket ship, and their deaths have been steadily increasing too.

Mass Covid 19 update. Scary news just in time for Halloween. Cases ticked down, to 1,292, and they did 18,122 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed high at 7.1%. Deaths ticked down, to sixteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 154,521 Total Confirmed Deaths: 9,766 Real bad day for hospitalizations. Fifty two more people went into the hospital and twelve more went into the ICU. This is not good at all. Those numbers are now 623 and 118, respectively.

Massachusetts has had a nasty week. Our caseload is now four times higher than it was seven weeks ago. Bad looking spike.

Nevada is another place that's having problems. They had gotten their caseload down to a quarter of what it had been during the July spike, but now they're back up to triple what they were at six weeks ago.

Pennsylvania is having a really hard time right now. In the past five weeks their case count has tripled.

Puerto Rico is another place that's suffering from rising cases. They're at about double what they were eight weeks ago.

Utah is one state that's having a lot of problems right now. Their cases and hospitalizations have been skyrocketing over the past six weeks. Both are about double what they were six weeks ago.

Things are going even crazier in South Dakota. They're at fifteen times their case levels compared to early July. Whoa.

North Dakota is really having a hard time. They're at thirteen times the case level that they had in the beginning of July.

Mass Covid 19 update. Doesn't look like I did this yesterday but I thought I did. Here's today's info. Not good at all. Cases shot up, to 1,488, which is the highest number of cases we've had since May 16th, back in the bad old days when we were averaging 1,500 cases a day. Deaths dipped down a little, to twenty three. Sadly six out of the last ten days we've had over 20 deaths. Eight of of ten have been 17 or more. In the 108 days prior to the past ten, the average deaths per day have been just over 14. The past ten days it's averaged over 21. Total Confirmed Cases: 153,229 Total Confirmed Deaths: 9,750 Ten more people went into the hospital today, and seven more went into the ICU. That raises those number to 571 and 106, respectively.
