Alaska was having big problems, but they seem to have turned things around. Cases dropped by half, and hospitalizations by almost as much. Deaths took a big dip too, which is good because in December deaths were skyrocketing.

Alabama is having some big problems. Cases doubled for the past two months and are four times higher than September. Hospitalizations are way up too and deaths spiked to double the previous month and eight times higher than September.

Mass Covid 19 update. The news is actually pretty good today. Low cases, low deaths, and people getting out of the hospital and the ICU. Cases dipped down, to 2,546, and they did 93,918 tests, so the Positive Test Rate dropped a tenth of a point to 2.7%. We've been under 4% for five days now and that's very good. We've been under 3% for the last two. Deaths dropped down substantially, to forty six. Total Confirmed Cases: 492,517 Total Confirmed Deaths: 14,329 Sixty three more people got out of the hospital today and twenty two got out of the ICU. Best day in the hospitals in a while. Hope to be bringing more good news in the future. Fingers crossed.

Mass Covid 19 update. Pretty good news to report today. Cases ticked up, to 3,957, but they did a massive number of tests, 143,342 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate dropped down to 2.8%. Deaths ticked down slightly, to eighty seven. Total Confirmed Cases: 489,971 Total Confirmed Deaths: 14,283 Another fifty people got out of the hospital today, and another nineteen got out of the ICU. So it was a good day in the hospitals. We peaked at 2,428 people in the hospital on January 5th. We now have 1,739 people in the hospital. That's a reduction of 689 in just the last 25 days. This is a good thing. Peak ICU was 461, we're now down to 393.

Mass Covid 19 update. Pretty good news today, except for the deaths, which were high. Cases dropped down to 2,781, and they did 86,197 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed low at 3.2%. Deaths ticked up, sadly, to ninety eight. Total Confirmed Cases: 481,792 Total Confirmed Deaths: 14,153 One hundred and forty one people got out of the hospital today, so that was good, and six people got out of the ICU as well. That brings those numbers down to 1,789 and 412, respectively.
