Mass Covid 19 update. Really crappy day today. Bad news in the hospitals and deaths spike very high. Today's cases came in at 2,915, which is very high, and they only did 63,676 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed very high at 4.6%. Deaths shot up a ton, to thirty one. Ouch. We crossed the 19,000 deaths threshold today. Total Confirmed Cases: 850,677 Total Confirmed Deaths: 19,001 Another really bad day in the hospitals. Sixty seven more people went into the hospital and twelve more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 906 and 190, respectively. This is the most people we've had in the hospital since February. Yikes.

Mass Covid 19 update. Bad news in the hospitals, and the PTR is off the charts. Cases came in at 5,497 for the weekend, which is only 1,832 per day, which is slightly lower than the previous two days. They only did 103,125 tests, so the Positive Test Rate skyrocketed to 5.3%. Deaths were moderate, at twenty one for the weekend, or seven per day. Total Confirmed Cases: 847,762 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,970 Very bad weekend in the hospitals. Sixty eight more people went into the hospital this weekend, and twenty two more went into the ICU. This is not good. That brings those numbers up to 839 and 178, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. This is for the past two days, as they didn't publish any data on Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Cases were pretty high, at 5,058, or 2,529 per day, and they did 171,111 tests, so the Positive Test Rate jumped up to 3.0%. Deaths were moderate, at twenty four, or twelve per day. Total Confirmed Cases: 842,265 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,949 Mixed news in the hospitals. Seven more people went into the hospital but nine got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers to 771 and 156, respectively.

I redid my Massachusetts New Covid Cases per Week graph and it's pretty ugly. Last couple of weeks have seen a huge spike. Mask up people.

Mass Covid 19 update. Total suckage going on. Cases shot up, to 2,616, and they only did 74,199 tests, so the Positive Test Rate spiked up to 3.5%, which is the highest it's been since January. Ouch. Deaths remained very high, at twenty four. Total Confirmed Cases: 834,229 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,907 Another bad day in the hospitals. Thirty two more people went into the hospital and eleven more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 740 and 154, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Pretty crappy weekend, except for deaths, which were moderate. Bad news in the hospitals. Cases came in at 6,801, which works out to 2,267 per day, which is a lot. They did only 215,631 tests, fewer than 72,000 per day, which caused the Positive Test Rate to skyrocket to 3.2%. Deaths were moderate, as I said, with only 17 over the weekend, or about six per day. Total Confirmed Cases: 831,613 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,883 Bad news in the hospitals. One hundred and forty five more people went into the hospital over the weekend, and fourteen more went into the ICU. Ouch. That brings those numbers up to 708 and 143, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Another day with high cases, and deaths spiked again. Cases stayed high, at 2,581, but at least that's lower than the past two days. They did 100,809 tests and that ticked down the Positive Test Rate to 2.6%. Deaths spiked back up again, sadly, to twenty two. Total Confirmed Cases: 824,812 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,866 Things seem to be easing up in the hospitals. Only six more people went in today, and three got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers to 563 and 129, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. This is from today. Cases keep soaring, up to 3,196 today. They did 113,617 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed relatively stable at 2.8%. The last two days have been crazy. I have no idea why we're suddenly getting a huge flood of cases. Deaths dropped down a bit, to only eight. Total Confirmed Cases: 822,231 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,844 Things stabilized a bit in the hospitals. Only fifteen more people went into the hospital today, which is better than the forty plus each of the last two days. Six more people went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 657 and 132, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. This is for yesterday. Wicked bad day. Hospitalizations are soaring as are cases. Cases soared up to 2,650, which is the most we've had since the middle of September. The did do more tests, 97,274 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate dropped down a little to 2.7%. Deaths stayed high, at twenty. Total Confirmed Cases: 819,035 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,836 Another very bad day in the hospitals. Forty three more people went into the hospital, which makes eighty eight in the last two days. No change in the ICU. That brings those numbers to 642 and 124, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. This is from two days ago. I've been spacing out the past couple days but I'm catching up now. Pretty crappy day on Tuesday. Cases were high at 1,848, and they only did 53,779 tests, so the Positive Test Rate had a huge increase to 3.4%. Deaths came in very high too, at twenty four. Total Confirmed Cases: 816,385 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,816 Very bad day in the hospitals. Forty five more people went into the hospital but thankfully three got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers to 599 and 124, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Mixed bag over the weekend. Cases came in at 5,248, which works out to 1,749 per day, which is pretty high. They did only 210,294 tests, or about 70,000 per day, so the Positive Test Rate jumped all the way up to 2.5%. Deaths came in at 24, which is only 8 per day, so not as bad as it's been recently. Total Confirmed Cases: 814,537 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,792 Mixed bag in the hospitals. Thirty two more people went into the hospital but four got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers to 554 and 127, respectively.

We really almost had this thing beat. We were down to like 2,000 cases a month in July. Then it all went to hell. At least it looks like we're down from last months peak, but it's still higher than May.

They only did 187,430 tests, so the Positive Test Rate remained elevated at 2.0%. Deaths were moderate, with only nineteen over two days. Total Confirmed Cases: 809,289 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,768 Good day in the hospitals. Five people got out of the hospital and ten got out of the ICU over the past two days. That brings those numbers down to 522 and 131, respectively.

But they did a bunch more tests, 90,440 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate dropped down to 1.9%. Deaths dropped slightly too, to twenty. They only did 211,037 tests over the weekend, so the Positive Test Rate jumped up to 1.9%. Deaths were very low, at six for the weekend or only two a day. Mass Covid 19 update. Another lousy day in the joint. Cases stayed about the same as yesterday, at 1,598, and they did 98,364 tests, so the Positive Test Rate ticked up to 1.6%. Deaths were pretty high, at eighteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 798,400 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,699 Slight improvement in the hospitals. Seven people got out of the hospital and two got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 502 and 145, respectively.

Cases came in at 1,586, which is higher than it's been in a while, and they did 104,430 tests, so the Positive Test Rate ticked up to 1.5%. Deaths jumped up high again, at twenty three. Deaths dipped a little from yesterday, to fifteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 795,216 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,658 Not a good day in the hospitals. Two more people went into the hospital but eleven went into the ICU, which sucks. That brings those numbers up to 524 and 141, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Kinda a brutal day for deaths. Cases came in at 1,066, which is relatively low, but they only did 48,887 tests, so the Positive Test Rate jumped up to 2.2%. Deaths skyrocketed up to twenty five, ouch. Total Confirmed Cases: 793,926 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,643 Good day in the hospitals. Nine people got out of the hospital and seven got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 522 and 130, respectively.

Cases came in at 3,243 for the weekend, which works out to only 1,081 per day, which is pretty low compared to recently. They did 195,506 tests, so the Positive Test Rate ticked up to 1.7%. Deaths came in very low, at only seven for the weekend, or just over two a day. That's way better than it has been. Total Confirmed Cases: 792,860 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,618 Not too much action in the hospitals. One more person went into the hospital over the weekend and three got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers to 531 and 137, respectively.
