Wyoming used to have hardly any Covid deaths, averaging less than three a week right up through the middle of October. Since then though, things have gone nuts. They are now at TWENTY TIMES their previous average. Deaths in the past four weeks: 138 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 27

Wisconsin was doing pretty well with their Covid deaths right up until the middle of September. Before then they were averaging about 40 a week. Since then things have gone crazy for the past seven weeks and now they're at close to ten times more deaths per week than they were back then. West Virginia was doing a pretty good job of keeping their Covid deaths down until about four weeks ago. They had been averaging about 20 deaths a week going back to the beginning of July. In the past three weeks though, things have been shooting up and now they're at more than four times the previous average. Deaths in the past four weeks: 269 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 89

Washington (state) had a peak of deaths back in the beginning of August, but had dropped down to about half of that until two weeks ago, when their deaths shot up again to now double their previous average. Deaths in the past four weeks: 351 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 228

Virginia hasn't experience any real significant rise in deaths over the past four months. They have averaged about a hundred a week the whole time. Deaths in the past four weeks: 407 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 393

Utah had been doing pretty well in the Covid deaths department until about four weeks ago. They were averaging just under 25 deaths a week until a month ago. Now it's risen to triple that level. Deaths in the past four weeks: 248 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 127

Texas had a huge spike in deaths back in July and August. They were running about 1,500 a week for four weeks. Things have calmed down since then but recently deaths started trending upwards again. Tennessee's Covid deaths have been rising for the last six weeks and are now about double what they were back then. Deaths in the past four weeks: 1,185 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 826

South Dakota is having some really big problems. They were averaging eight deaths a day until the start of September. Now it's TWENTY TIMES higher than that. The legacy of Sturgis lives on. Deaths in the past four weeks: 473 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 178

South Carolina is one state that's actually not doing too badly with regards to Covid deaths. They had a spike in July and August but deaths have declined steadily since then, and they are the only state I've seen so far where the month over month is lower this month than last. Despite a brief spike in deaths back in the beginning of September, Puerto Rico wasn't doing too badly in the deaths department. The last four weeks though have brought on a spike that's pushed the weekly deaths number to triple what it was just five weeks ago. Pennsylvania had kept their Covid deaths moderately under control until about three weeks ago. They had averaged about 110 deaths a week going back to the beginning of July. The past two weeks though have brought huge spikes pushing their death count past 500 for this past week. Deaths in the past four weeks: 1,450 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 605

Oregon had been doing pretty well in the deaths department until about four weeks ago. They were averaging about 27 deaths per week. Now they are at three times that level after only a month. Deaths in the past four weeks: 210 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 112

Oklahoma's deaths started rising shortly after Trump had his rally there in June. They are now at five times the rate from the start of July, and seem to be increasing steadily. Deaths in the past four weeks: 378 Deaths in the previous four weeks: 282
