Vaccination Update

Seven states have reached the Biden administration's goal of vaccinating at least 70% of adults with at least one dose by July 4.

Those states are Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Vermont. Except for Hawaii, they're all in New England except for New Jersey, and that's almost in New England.

It's not July 4 yet, but all those above states have at least 70% of the population with at least one shot.

Massachusetts has given out 3,991,753 first shots and 235,125 single shots so that's 4,226,878 people who have gotten at least one shot. That's 87% of the 4,849,033 adults (18+) in Mass.

3,290,072 are fully vaccinated, or about 68% of all adults.

This is very good news.
