Re-did the Massachusetts New Covid Deaths per Week chart because this week we did extremely well, with only 12 deaths. That's down from 232 the last week of March.
I've gotten a bit behind on the Covid thing these past couple weeks. This report is for last Tuesday. I'll be catching up over the next day or so. The numbers here are for four days cause it was a long weekend with Patriot's Day. Cases came in at 6,514, which is 1,628 per day. They did 148,111 tests, or about only 37,028 per day, so the Positive Test Rate jumped up to 4.4%. Deaths were extremely low, with only TWO over four days, which is great. Total Confirmed Cases: 1,589,305 Total Confirmed Deaths: 19,061 Relatively good news in the hospitals. Fifteen people got out of the hospital, and two got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 328 and 35, respectively.
Mass Covid 19 update. Cases came in at 1,116, but they only did 32,868 tests so the Positive Test Rate jumped up to 3.4%. Ouch. Deaths jumped up too, to twelve. Total Confirmed Cases: 1,564,985 Total Confirmed Deaths: 19,018 Some improvement in the hospitals. Ten people got out of the hospital and one got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 206 and 30, respectively.
Mass Covid 19 update. Bit of backsliding today. Cases jumped up to 1,472, which is the highest it's been in ten days, and they did only slightly more tests than yesterday, 61,407 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate jumped back up to 2.4%. Deaths jumped up a bit too, to seven. Total Confirmed Cases: 1,559,539 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,996 Some backsliding in the hospitals. Eleven more people went into the hospital and three more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 221 and 32, respectively.
