Mass Covid 19 update. About the same as yesterday. Deaths still way too high. Cases came in at almost exactly the same number as yesterday, at 1,486, and they did 102,213 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed nice and low at 1.5%. Deaths spiked up, to twenty seven. Ouch. Total Confirmed Cases: 753,084 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,250 More people got out of the hospital today, fourteen to be exact, but two more went into the ICU. That brings those number so 618 and 167, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Not good news on the deaths and hospitalizations front. Cases came in at 1,380 which is ok, but they only did 54,215 tests so the Positive Test Rate spiked up to 2.5%. Deaths were high too, at twenty two. Total Confirmed Cases: 750,150 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,200 Not a good day in the hospitals. Thirty seven more people went into the hospital today, and eleven more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 643 and 169, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. So so day today. Cases dipped down a little, to 1,784, and they did almost exactly the same number of tests as yesterday, 109,692 (three fewer), so the Positive Test Rate actually dropped down to 1.6%. Deaths dropped down too, thankfully, to thirteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 744,675 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,164 Eleven more people went into the hospital today, but one got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers to 617 and 164, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. This is yesterday's report. My Facebook wasn't working properly and didn't allow me to upload graphics. Hopefully that's fixed. Cases jumped up, to 1,821, but that's mostly because they did way more tests, 104,069 to be exact, which brought the Positive Test Rate back down to 1.7%. Deaths stayed very high, at twenty four. Good day in the hospitals though. Eighteen people got out of the hospital and three got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 618 and 170, respectively. Considering we had over 700 people in the hospital at the end of last week, that's good.

Mass Covid 19 update. Good news in the cases and hospitals department, but nasty on the deaths number. Cases dropped down, to 1,283, but they only did 43,033 tests, which made the Positive Test Rate jump up to 3.0%. Deaths skyrocketed up to twenty five. Nasty. That brings those numbers to 636 and 173, respectively.

One moderately good thing that's happened with the Covid pandemic. It's killing power has been greatly diminished. In the last month we've had 47,265 cases, and 268 deaths. That brings the mortality rate down to 0.5%, which is way way lower than the 8% it started out as. The first 100,000 cases we had caused almost 8,000 deaths. If that was still the kill rate we would have had 4,000 people die this past month, instead of 268. This is a good thing.

Cases came in at 1,999, but they did 124,355 tests, so the Positive Test Rate dropped all the way down to 1.6%, which is very good. Deaths stayed high, at sixteen. Mass Covid 19 update. Pretty nasty day. Cases shot way high up, to 2,716, but they did twice as many tests as normal, 119,979 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate stayed around normal at 2.3%. Mass Covid 19 update. Bad day for deaths today. Cases weren't too bad but deaths were awful. Cases came in at 1,453, and they did 65,226 tests, so the Positive Test Rate ticked up to 2.2%. Forty one more people went into the hospital today, but only two more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 716 and 172, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Pretty difficult weekend, especially in the hospitals. Cases came in at 4,752, which works out to be 1,584 per day, which isn't too bad. They did 242,837 tests over the weekend, which kept the Positive Test Rate at 2.0%, which also isn't too bad. Deaths came in at nineteen, which is six per day, lower than the past few days, where we were hitting eighteen per day. Total Confirmed Cases: 725,346 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,001 That's right, we passed the 18,000 deaths threshold this weekend, which sucks. Fifty one more people went into the hospital over the weekend, but fortunately only two more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 675 and 170, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Not to horrible over the weekend. Cases came in at 5,484, which works out to an average of 1,371 per day, which is not too bad. The average over the previous nine days had been 1,568. They did 264,404 tests over the weekend, which keeps the Positive Test Rate level at 2.1%. Deaths came in at 12, which is only three a day, which is good. The previous five days we had been averaging 12 deaths per day, which is not good. Total Confirmed Cases: 715,410 Total Confirmed Deaths: 17,931 Not so bad in the hospitals. Eight people got out of the hospitals over the weekend, and two more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers to 601 and 164, respectively.

Total Confirmed Cases: 709,926 Total Confirmed Deaths: 17,919 Backsliding in the hospitals today, after one day of reductions, cases went up again. Sixteen more people went into the hospital and four more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 609 and 162, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. A bit of improvement today, although deaths were high. Cases dipped down from yesterday, to 1,593, and they did 84,130 tests, so the Positive Test Rate dropped down to 1.9%. That's the first day under 2.0% in a month. Deaths stayed high, sadly, at fourteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 708,223 Total Confirmed Deaths: 17,909 We saw some improvement in the hospital situation today. Twenty five people got out of the hospital, and eleven got out of the ICU. That's at least a good thing. That brings those numbers down to 595 and 158, respectively.
