Massachusetts Updated Covid Mortality Rate
One moderately good thing that's happened with the Covid pandemic. It's killing power has been greatly diminished.
In the last month we've had 47,265 cases, and 268 deaths. That brings the mortality rate down to 0.5%, which is way way lower than the 8% it started out as.
The first 100,000 cases we had caused almost 8,000 deaths. If that was still the kill rate we would have had 4,000 people die this past month, instead of 268. This is a good thing.
