Mass Covid 19 update. Another day in the grind. Cases ticked up, to 1,432, but they did 101,481 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed flat at 1.4%. Deaths stayed moderate too, at twelve. Total Confirmed Cases: 788,372 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,599 No change in the hospital population today, but six more people went into the ICU. That brings those numbers to 528 and 140, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Not the worst day. Deaths were lower and hospitalizations are down. Cases came in at 1,274, and they did 91,857 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed nice and low at 1.4%. Deaths dipped down from yesterday, to fourteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 786,940 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,587 Good day in the hospitals. Eighteen people got out of the hospital and three got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 528 and 134, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. So so day today. Cases were moderate but deaths jumped up a lot. Cases came in at 1,115, which is a reasonably good number compared to the last few weeks, and they did 82,568 tests so the Positive Test Rate stayed nice and low at 1.4%. Deaths more than tripled compared to the weekend, at twenty three. Ouch. Total Confirmed Cases: 785,666 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,573 Not so good in the hospitals today. Nineteen more people went into the hospital and three more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 546 and 137, respectively.

Cases came in at 1,343, and they did more tests, 106,526 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate dropped all the way down to 1.3%. Deaths dipped a little, to fifteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 781,378 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,530 Mixed news in the hospitals today. Thirteen people got out of the hospital but two more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers to 519 and 144, respectively.

Cases came in at 1,267, and they did even more tests than yesterday, at 93,274, so the Positive Test Rate dropped down to 1.4%. Deaths spiked up though, to twenty. Mass Covid 19 update. Sorry this is late. My new job's got me very busy. This is for Monday, and includes the whole weekend. And it is also my FIVE HUNDREDTH DAY of doing these reports, every day that they publish data. It's been a grind, but I've gotten a lot of good feedback and encouragement to continue, so I have persisted. Cases stayed pretty low, at 2,815 over three days, which is only 938 per day. That is lower than it's been since the beginning of August. They did 202,118 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed glued at 1.4%. Deaths dropped down too, to ten for the whole weekend, which is only three a day. Total Confirmed Cases: 775,525 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,459 Mixed news in the hospitals. Mass Covid 19 update. Not too bad a day. Cases came in at 1,560, but they did way more tests, 107,844 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate dropped back down to 1.4%. Deaths dropped down a little too, to fourteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 771,198 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,437 Mixed day in the hospitals. Eleven more people went into the hospital, but nine got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers to 567 and 142, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Pretty crappy day today. Backsliding in the hospitals. Cases stayed stable, at 1,471, but they only did 77,849 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed elevated at 1.9%. Deaths jumped up again too, to nineteen. Total Confirmed Cases: 769,638 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,423 Bad day in the hospitals. Fifteen more people went into the hospital and seven more went into the IUC. That brings those numbers up to 556 and 151, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. This is for the whole weekend plus Monday. Cases were pretty low, coming in at 4,466, which is only about eleven hundred a day, low for a four day period of time. They didn't do that many tests, doing 238,997 for the weekend or about 60k per day. That caused the Positive Test Rate to spike up to 1.9%. Deaths were relatively mellow, coming in at 36 for the weekend which is only nine per day, which is much less than we had been having. Total Confirmed Cases: 766,584 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,388 More good news in the hospitals, thankfully. Twenty one people got out of the hospital over the weekend and three got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 541 and 144, respectively.

Cases came in almost the same as yesterday, at 1,532, and they did 102,065 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed stable at 1.5%. It's been exactly there for six out of the past seven days, which is a good thing. Deaths stayed high, at twenty two. Total Confirmed Cases: 762,118 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,352 Good progress in the hospitals. Sixteen people got out of the hospital and six got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 571 and 150, respectively.

Cases came in at 1,492, which is a bit higher than the last couple days, but they did 101,368 tests, which brought the Positive Test Rate back down to 1.5%. Deaths jumped up though, to twenty seven, ouch. Total Confirmed Cases: 760,586 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,330 Moderate day in the hospitals. Five more people went into the hospital but ten got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers to 589 and 156, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Cases stayed low but deaths spiked again. Cases came in at 1,184, which is the lowest single day number since August 13th. They only did 54,597 tests though, so the Positive Test Rate spiked up to 2.2%. Deaths spiked again, to twenty one. Total Confirmed Cases: 759,094 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,303 Not much activity in the hospitals today. Three more people went into the hospital, and two more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 584 and 166, respectively.

Some bright spots in my most recent Massachusetts Covid Cases report. We had been doing pretty well in the early summer, but then things got really crappy. These past couple weeks, we seem to have turned a corner again. Hopefully this trend will continue.

Mass Covid 19 update. Reasonably good news over the weekend. Cases were pretty low, at 3,283, which works out to only 1,094 per day, which is lower than it's been. They did 213,676 tests over the past three days, so the Positive Test Rate stayed stable at 1.5%. That's four days in a row with 1.5%, which is good. Deaths were low too, coming in at twelve over the weekend, which is only four a day, much better than the twenty plus per day we had over the past four days before the weekend. Total Confirmed Cases: 757,910 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,282 Relatively good news in the hospitals. Twenty one people got out of the hospital, but six more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers to 581 and 164, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update. Friday wasn't too bad. People getting out of the hospital and ICU. Cases came in at 1,543, which is only slightly higher than yesterday, and they did 105,020 tests, so the Positive Test Rate stayed locked on 1.5%, where it's been for the past three days. Aside from a couple of spikes when they didn't do many tests, the PTR has been below 2% for 12 days now. Deaths stayed high, at twenty. Total Confirmed Cases: 754,627 Total Confirmed Deaths: 18,270 Good day in the hospitals. Sixteen people got out of the hospital and nine got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 602 and 158, respectively.
