Mass Covid 19 update.

Well it's been a long slog doing these reports, and this is the SIX HUNDREDTH REPORT that I've done in the past two years. Yikes. Seems like forever. Hope this fucking pandemic ends soon.

A little bit of backsliding but not too terrible.

Cases came in at 802, which is a slight uptick from yesterday, and they did a lot fewer tests, 54,053 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate jumped up to 1.5%.

Deaths remained moderate, at twenty two.

Total Confirmed Cases: 1,542,632

Total Confirmed Deaths: 22,976

Ten more people went INTO the hospital today, which is a reversal of previous trends, but six got out of the ICU, which is good. That brings those numbers to 290 and 40, respectively. Things have definitely improved since the middle of January, when we had almost 500 people in the ICU. Glad that's over.

Mass Covid 19 update. Very good news to report today. Cases came in at 2,888 over the weekend, which works out to 963 per day, which is a lot lower than it has been. They only did 115,201 tests, or only 38,400 per day, so the Positive Test Rate ticked up to 2.5%. Deaths though, came in at ZERO, which for three days is absolutely fantastic. The last day we had zero deaths was July 13th of last year, and that was just one day. There were only four other days during this entire pandemic that we had zero deaths. I hope it becomes a trend. Total Confirmed Cases: 1,563,869 Total Confirmed Deaths: 19,006 Slight improvement in the hospitals. Eight people got out of the hospital and two got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 216 and 31, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update - 4/19

I've gotten a bit behind on the Covid thing these past couple weeks. This report is for last Tuesday. I'll be catching up over the next day or so. The numbers here are for four days cause it was a long weekend with Patriot's Day. Cases came in at 6,514, which is 1,628 per day. They did 148,111 tests, or about only 37,028 per day, so the Positive Test Rate jumped up to 4.4%. Deaths were extremely low, with only TWO over four days, which is great. Total Confirmed Cases: 1,589,305 Total Confirmed Deaths: 19,061 Relatively good news in the hospitals. Fifteen people got out of the hospital, and two got out of the ICU. That brings those numbers down to 328 and 35, respectively.

Mass Covid 19 update - 4/15

Mass Covid 19 update. This is for today. Cases dipped down a little, to 2,470, and they did 65,848 tests, so the Positive Test Rate remained elevated at 3.8%. Deaths ticked up some, to seven. Total Confirmed Cases: 1,582,791 Total Confirmed Deaths: 19,059 Bad news in the hospitals. Thirty six more people went into the hospital, and seven more went into the ICU. That brings those numbers up to 343 and 37, respectively.
