Wyoming was having some issues with Covid deaths back in December, but things have improved significantly. They were over sixty deaths a week back then but this past week they were under ten.

Mass Covid 19 update. Continuing on the trend of pretty good news to report. Deaths ticked up, but otherwise things are pretty good. Cases ticked up, to 1,788, but they did a shitload of tests, 114,127 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate actually dropped to 1.6%. That's four days out of the last eight where we were down there. This is a very good thing. Deaths rose considerably from their recent numbers, up to sixty. Only two of the last ten days has it gotten to sixty, and the other day it was sixty one, so things have been moderate in the deaths situation. The last ten days the average has been 45. The ten days before that the average was 69. Total Confirmed Cases: 538,068 Total Confirmed Deaths: 15,666 Four people got out of the hospital today, and six got out of the ICU. Still progress. That brings those numbers down to 875 and 219, respectively. The declines have slowed down, but it's still declining.

Wisconsin had their big spike of Covid deaths the week before Christmas, but since then things have declined steadily. They're now at a quarter of their peak levels.

West Virginia had a big spike in Covid deaths right after Christmas, but things have improved since then. They're now at about a third the levels of their peak.

Washington (state) had a spike after Christmas, and things have slowly come down since then. Getting close to half their previous peak.

Virginia is heading in the wrong direction with regards to Covid deaths. They have been slowly increasing over the last two months. They were at 150 a week in the beginning of December, but last week hit 450. This is not good.

Vermont was having a bit harder time in December with regards to their Covid deaths, but it's was nothing compared to other states. Most states go down dozens or hundreds when they have a decline in deaths. Vermont went from 18 to 8, so not a big deal either way. Vermont has largely skated with regards to Covid deaths. They've had less than 200 total since the pandemic began.

Utah had a big spike in Covid deaths right after Christmas, but things have calmed down since then. They're now at about half the level of their post- Christmas peak.

Mass Covid 19 update. More good news to report today. Things keep going down, and this is good. Cases ticked down slightly, to 1,114, and they did a few more tests, 62,531 to be exact, so the Positive Test Rate dropped back down to 1.8%. Deaths stayed low too, at thirty. Deaths have averaged 43 over the past nine days. The nine days before that they were averaging 68, so that's an improvement. Total Confirmed Cases: 536,280 Total Confirmed Deaths: 15,606 Nine more people got out of the hospital today, and four more got out of the ICU. At least it's in the right direction. That brings those numbers down to 879 and 225, respectively.

Did a weekly chart showing cases and deaths for the whole country. Cases have been dropping steadily for six weeks but we only got a drop in our deaths just this past week. They had been persistently high for six weeks in a row. Dropped to about half this past week, which is good. We had been averaging over 20,000 deaths a week there for a while, which is not good.

Texas had a big nasty spike of Covid deaths that lasted for six weeks. They were averaging over 2,100 deaths per week during that stretch. This past week it finally declined, dropping to close to a third of their peak average.

Tennessee had a big spike of Covid deaths just three and four weeks ago. Since then they've dropped off dramatically. Last week they were at one quarter the levels of just two weeks ago.

South Dakota had a big problem with Covid deaths back in the beginning of December. Since then things have improved dramatically. They had 150 deaths the first week of December. They had 20 deaths last week. This is improvement.

South Carolina had a huge spike in Covid deaths three weeks ago, but it seems to be declining modestly since then. That was a nasty spike though. Went up more than 50% in one month.
